Exciting news for all our polish fans. Finally, after 20 years of wait, Impaled Nazarene will invade Poland. We will play at Carmen Club in town of Chorzów on 18th of December 2010!!!!!!!!
 

News update 1st of August 2010

So.

We have finished all recordings of our 11th studio album ROAD TO THE OCTAGON. It took us precisely 6 days at Hellhole studio with our very own soundman Max "Miami/safari" Kostermaa.

Circa 33min!! No slow songs, no flirting with power/doom whatever. This is Impaled Nazarene at its most violent in years. And yes, lots of people have been calling for more punk and here it is delivered!! D-Beat yes! Guitar and bass (YES) solos!

Max starts mixing the album and rest of us take well deserved break. We will master the album with Mika Jussila at Finnvox studio on 27th of August.

Press/album photos have been already shot by Jarkko Viitasaari.

We will do a video also, most probably from Enlightenment Process track.

And we did record two extra tracks. This is tied to new album/20th anniversary thing, you guys will get something in October. More of that later!!!

News update 1st of July 2010.

 

First things first: After 18 years, Anttila (guitar) has stepped aside from Impaled Nazarene. There is no drama or bullshit involved. Jarno is simply too busy with his work and family. Cheers and beers to Jarno for sticking with us that long!!!!

Jarno´s departure does not affect our plans. We will continue as four piece.

As we previously reported, we will enter Hellhole studio this month with our very own soundman Tero Kostermaa to record our 11th full lenght album. Writing has has been going very well, we have 12 finished songs so far. We will record also a song made by Jarno for us as it is a kick ass tune and he gave us permission to use it.

ROAD TO THE OCTAGON is the album title. We can reveal some songs titles:

Road To The Octagon will be released by Osmose Productions in the beginning of November 2010. Album shall be mastered by Mika Jussila and artwork is handled by Darkgrove Design.

We can also confirm that we have been booked to play MARYLAND DEATHFEST 28th of May 2011. This will be exclusive show for USA in 2011!!!!!!!!!!!!!!!

Major News!! 31. 3. 2010.

 

We have decided to re-sign with Osmose Productions once again. It was actually very easy

decision to make: We are celebrating 20 years of I.N. on November 2010. All our full length

albums have come out on Osmose and basically we felt no other label should have our anniversary

album.

 

We will enter Hellhole Studio (Helsinki) in late summer to record our 11th full length album.

Album title tba. We have been busy working on new songs, we have four ready.

We have two shows left (April 10th in Helsinki, Finland and May 1st in Switzerland) and after

them we stop playing shows till new album is out. We will fully concentrate on making our strongest

album to date.

 

Not only we will have new album out on November 2010.

 

We will play our 20th anniversary show in Kuopio, the most metal city in Finland. This show will

be on 20th of November at Henry´s Pub club. We will FINALLY record live dvd there.

We chose Kuopio and Henry´s Pub simply because Kuopio has the best audience in Finland

and Henry´s Pub is the best club in Finland. Yes it is small but perfect for live dvd recording.

 

Ticket price (and how and when to obtain them) and more info will be announced later.

Impaled Nazarene confirmed for Mostra dei Mostri (VII Edition) Festival, Italy.

And finally some news regarding Tol Cormpt Norz Norz Norz and Ugra-Karma vinyl re-issues. Both albums will come out on 12" double vinyl instead of 10" double vinyl as previously announced. This is simply due to obtain maximum sound quality on both releases. Street date has been pushed back to fall. Once we know, you know.

Just like countless of other bands, we have also cancelled our show at Unholy Fest. This festival is a fucking joke!!! Good luck to those who have bought tickets.

Couple of dates added. On 13th of June Impaled Nazarene shall return to Lithuania, we will play at
Kilkim Zaibu festival. We have played in many different settings and surroundings before but this festival

As for other news, our Italian mini-tour was very successful once again. Major hail for Nihil Productions and Vivo management and thank you for our support bands Exhumer and Adimiron.

We have also started writing our 11th studio album now. We are in no rush so do not expect it to be out before 2010. 2010 will also mark our 20th anniversary so it will perfect time to vomit forth some brand new nuclear metal. You can expect piper melodies, violins, female vocals, beaver hats and potato sacks.
NOT! NEVER!

We will fucking put metal back to metal!!!

After the successful spring/summer/fall gigs of 2008 around the world the band is now taking some time off from full activity. This simply means composing new material for the somewhere-in-future-to-be-released next album, taking care of other (earthly) businesses and charging of the "armageddon batteries" overall. We've been planning to start the next album recordings around the spring/ summertime of 2009, but we have also decided to not to be in anykind of hurry with that matter. It's a totally "when we feel like" situation at the moment. There might be some one-off gigs done here and there during the wintertime, but more of those later. . . So the answer to the question ( @ www.campnazarene.com ) "are we dead" (referring to the long web-silence) is: "You wish..."

We will add new photomaterial from the last summer to the webpage soon, we will keep You updated when there's something to be told AND we are checking the messageboard (forum, CampNazarene) on daily basis, that's the quickest way to reach us and to get answered for the questions.
